Before coming to France, Jan was a school manager in the Netherlands, did general policy, communication, international relations, human resources, and financial policy. He also had the final responsibility for the implementation process of financial and pedagogic autonomy in his school as well as student's responsibility for their learning process.
Before this Jan was a school counselor and career teacher at secondary school level and was a member of the national board of career guidance in the Netherlands. He is the author of several publications in the field of vocational guidance for young people.
In France he created Bilance, company for coaching and vocational guidance at Niort (79) France, and several local networks of coaches. He worked for small and great companies and teached at University of Poitiers and La Rochelle.

Jan is a coach for managers who was a well trained manager himself. To this valuable experience he ads his training and practice in science, education and coaching. He was trained as a coach in NLP, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and systemic therapy. A good coach is more than well-trained one and as a senior coach / consultant, he is able to spread around mildness and wisdom. Jan Nagel is a Dutchman nowadays living and working in France. He coaches French and non-French people who need to clarify their situation, each in their own language. He speaks four languages and disposes of a unique and strong instrument for international orientated vocational guidance. He proposes a conference about students going abroad. As a school manager he was responsible for extensive exchanges with schools in Germany and Belgium.
